SOCIAL EVENTS

We decided it was about time to test everyones fitness and do a good old sponsored walk! The group walked from Reculver to Margate and.. WE ALL MADE IT!!

Beckie did underestimate just how far and how long the walk would take but we are really proud of everyone that took part and made it to the finish line! We also managed to have a few giggles along the walk!

The group did an amazing job and managed to raise £160.

MARLOWE THEATRE PANTOMIME 2012

This year's trip to the Marlowe Theatre brought Sleeping Beauty, a giant dragon, skeleton's climbing through the audience and Gareth Gates!!! As always, everyone loved the show and really got into the panto spirit.

This year we even had seats in the stalls, rather than in the heavens! The perfect view to really appreciate the giant, fire breathing dragon!

CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES 2012

As every one had a great time the previous year, we decided to make Chessington a yearly trip, especially as we go on the Youth Group's special discount days! This year had a better turn out, and everyone had a great day dispite the gloomy weather! We even took up a full train on Tomb Blaster!

ADULT CHRISTMAS

MEAL 2011

The Committee celebrate by going for a Christmas Meal every year, however this year they decided to invite the rest of the adults involved in the group (from both on and off the stage).

Of course, they caused mayhem in the resturant, and were quite possibly the loudest table but all had a lovely time!

MARLOWE THEATRE PANTOMIME 2011

To celebrate the panto season, Act 1 went to see a proper, professional panto (to see if they do it just as well as us of course)! We went to the Marlowe Theatre and saw old Christian from Easterenders prancing around in tights, and falling for Cinderella. Everyone really enjoyed it, and we even had a shout out during the Song-Sheet!

Our big summer trip this year was to Chessington World of Adventures! Everyone that went had a great day, and even managed to get into a free concert at the park in the evening, seeing the likes of Jedward & Alexandra Burke live!!

What a bonus!

COMMITTEE CHRISTMAS

MEAL 2010

Being part of the Committee doesn't always mean boring meetings, discussing figures and planning rehearsals. Sometimes we let our Committee out to play, once in a while we even let them out in public!!
