I was always a keen performer as a child and it seems my performance bug has passed on to my offspring!

 

I've been involved with Act 1 since 2018 when my son joined for the summer show, and always the keen parent, I jumped straight in as a chaperone. I love being part of the backstage craziness and it's lovely to watch the little people grow in confidence and develop their skills. When I finally get to sit back and watch the show it makes it feel so special knowing that all the blood, sweat and tears put in by every member behind the scenes has paid off to achieve an amazing show!

 

Act 1 is not just a theatre group - it's an extended family.

 

I am excited to have been asked to join the committee and can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
